| I thought I'd share my paint/bodywork for the Z with everyone since it's been slow lately. The Z was more than due for a fresh coat of paint so I bit the bullet and stripped it down to get it out to the body/paint shop to have the work done during the winter months. I figured since I was getting it painted I may as well do all the things I've wanted to do to it body wise so I bought/had the following done: Thanks to Coz for graciously taking my money like usual =) -Stillen front lip
-CPark fog light ducts from CPark
-Smoked front turn signals from OppamanZ
-New door and window mouldings
-All dings and body imperfections removed
-Rolled rear fenders
-Shaved rear wiper
-Shaved radio antanna
-Shaved front windshield squirters
-New red Jspec emblem since the body guy broke mine =/
-Removed spoiler sticker and had painted black
-Jspec rear center pannel between taillights
-New pinstriping in grove aroung bottom of car (3M 3/8" black pinstriping tape for anyone searching)
-Misc other crap I cant think of at the moment Overall the bodywork came out amazing, not a single dent on the car and the shaved parts look like they came that way off the assembly line. I was super excited about getting in back....then I saw the paint. Long story short there are imperfections all throughout the base coat and there is also orange peel under the clear =/ Needless to say I was pissed. He agreed to respray the car but couldnt get it back to me in time for plans that I had made 6 months prior so we agreed that he would give me half my money back. The car as a whole looks great but it's deffinately not up to my standards, oh well. Anyway, here is what you clicked the post for....any comments, suggestions, concerns are welcome. Ignore the exhaust, B&B is coming in a week, pics to follow =) Some pics of the bodywork, etc: Getting all of the dents out and starting on shaving the wiper and antanna.
